On May 23rd 2010 I visited Felmores Lake in Basildon to kick off my personal project of photographing some of the many hundreds of people in this area that pass their spare time fishing - One of the most popular sports in the country.

Here I met many people sitting on the banks, huddled between reeds and trees, trying to catch 'the big one', including a Grandfather and Grandson 'team' getting in a spot of fishing while the ladies went shopping - Smart thinking and really great to see. 'Hi' to you all.
